唱片简介
英国的音乐剧超级天后莎拉布莱曼，继上张专辑《Time to Say Goodbye永相随》在全球创下1000万张冠军销量的佳绩后，新专辑《Eden伊甸园》也隆重推出。
《Eden》共收录了十五首歌曲，曲风涵盖了古典、跨国界与流行，专辑中莎拉依旧保持她美如天籁的歌声。制作人是布莱曼的老搭档——Frank Peterson。其中有不少古典作品的改编版，譬如第4轨《Anytime, Anywhere（随时随处）》正是改编自巴洛克名家阿尔比诺尼的《柔板》，第12轨《Lascia Ch'io Pianga（让我哭泣）》源自亨德尔歌剧中的抒情咏叹调，第15轨《Nessun Dorma（今夜无人入眠）》则是歌剧大师普契尼名作《图兰朵》中的名段。其次唱片中又有充满着NewAge风韵的现代曲目，譬如第一首主打曲目，充满着阿拉伯风味的《In Paradisum》以及标题曲《Eden》。唱片中还收录了当时风靡一时的大片《TITANIC》主题曲《My Heart Will Go On》的意大利语版《Il Mio Cuore Va》。
这张专辑奠定了她巡演的基础，专辑取得了国际性的成功，《EDEN》售出了超过200万张，1999年在瑞典、挪威、丹麦、芬兰、新加坡、韩国、台湾、巴西、美国和加拿大都获了奖。在美国发布了特别版，额外增加了一首曲目《The Last Words You Said》以及数首Music Video。
EDEN是她的故事，“我追溯我的根，它可能是从英格兰、法国、西班牙和其他不同的地方分支出的凯尔特人的祖先。这张专辑非常神秘空灵，那正是初始时潜在的情感。我希望它可以带领人们在另一个世界旅行。” 《EDEN》是声音的宇宙，SarahBrightman的典型之作。充满意象与思绪的故事和激情与音乐相交织，如她阐释的Puccini的咏叹调《NessumDorma》，Kansas洲的《DustInTheWind》，及《TheEnglishPatient》配乐的演唱版，是一次穿越不同国家与语言的音乐之旅，优美而保留了原始乐章的本质。对SarahBrightman来说，没有什么比艺术之真更重要。
